Paralegal/Solicitor (Family Law)
Location: Mor Workspace, Newquay/Hybrid
Salary: Competitive
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing divorce and consent order cases from start to finish, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and court procedures.
- Providing clear, empathetic, and professional advice to clients regarding family law matters.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed client records using Clio, our legal practice management software.
- Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and other legal standards.
Ideal Candidate:
- Formal legal education to degree level (LLB, GDL, or equivalent).
- At least 12 months of experience as a paralegal or solicitor in family law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal processes in plain English.
- A client-focused, empathetic approach to help clients navigate challenging circumstances.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Divorce Advisor (Sales)
Location: Remote or Newquay
Salary: Competitive + Commission
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to inquiries from potential clients with empathy and understanding.
- Explaining our services, including divorce packages and consent orders, and helping clients choose the right solution for their needs.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent communication.
Ideal Candidate:
- A compassionate communicator.
- Sales experience, ideally in a service-driven industry.
- Motivated to help people while achieving personal and team goals.
Mediator
Location: Remote
Salary: Competitive
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating discussions between separating couples to help them reach agreements on finances, child arrangements, and other key matters.
- Promoting a constructive and fair approach to resolving disputes.
- Preparing mediation summaries and agreements.
Ideal Candidate:
- Accreditation as a family mediator (FMCA) or working towards it.
- Excellent listening and negotiation skills.
- Empathy and impartiality when dealing with clients.
Strong understanding of family law and the divorce process.
